One point I would like to bring up as I rarely see the relative position of the trigger finger on the trigger mentioned anywhere. I think it adds a lot to the accuracy of the gun and is very important when shooting handguns, and may be a major factor in why many people shoot a handgun better than they do a handgun (not all people, but most people).

Even though I cleaned and oiled the pistol before I got to the range, I ran into a bore snake in the barrel. After all, it was a gun that had never been fired (by me anyway) and I wanted to clean the bore. Recoil on the Glock G21 was very light and pushed the gun into the web of my gun hand. The Hogue handle sleeves I installed on the gun helped tame what I thought was recoil there.
